Robert C. Supple

Robert C. Supple

D.M.D.

Dr. Robert C. Supple graduated from Albuquerque Academy in 1972, from the University of Houston in 1976, and from Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston in 1980. Dr. Supple is a graduate of the Pankey Institute and is active in the American Equilibration Society and the International Academy of Gnathology. The focus of his dental career is occlusion-related problems and their solutions. He has developed a practice model incorporating digital occlusion into everyday dentistry. Lecture topics include abfractions, digital occlusion and solving T.M. disorders.  Dr. Supple has developed the Habitual and Skeletal Force Patterns Analysis. He is passionate about sharing his knowledge with the dental community, locally, nationally, and internationally and he continues his research on a daily basis.  He hosts quarterly trainings for the UNM dental residents, speaks at several dental courses throughout the year, and has published several articles. He is also co-author of the Handbook of Research on Computerized Occlusal Analysis Technology Applications in Dental Medicine.  Dr. Supple is married, has two daughters, Monet and Michaela, and two grandchildren.  He enjoys swimming, golfing, and teaching during his time away from the office.

Tom Baiamonte

Tom Baiamonte

D.M.D., M.S.

Dr. Tom Baiamonte graduated from Highland High School in 1975, from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1981, and Tufts University of Dental Medicine in Boston in 1986. He earned a masters degree in Oral Implantology from Loma Linda University in 1995 and is currently one of few Masters of Oral Implantology in New Mexico.  Dr. Baiamonte is a doctor of Medical Dentistry with decades of expertise in both implantology and restorative dentistry. He is passionate about continuing to expand in his knowledge of implants, periodontal procedures (bone grafting, tissue grafting), and surgical procedures.  Dr. Baiamonte volunteers yearly with the Mission of Mercy project which provides free dental care in New Mexico. He also enjoys skiing with his son Zach and undertaking home improvement projects in his free time.

 

Bethany Hann

Bethany Hann

D.D.S.

Dr. Bethany Hann graduated from Albuquerque Academy in 2003. After studying Spanish at Brigham Young University, she received her dental degree from the Ostrow School of Dentistry of University of Southern California in 2013. While at USC, Dr. Hann volunteered with AYUDA International to provide dental care during humanitarian trips to Panama, Belize, Colombia, Guatemala, and Mexico. She also received the Academy of General Dentistry Senior Award for showing the most promise of being an outstanding general dentist. She returned to the Land of Enchantment to complete her residency in general dentistry at UNM Hospital; it was during her residency that she first began learning from Dr. Supple! A National Health Service Corps Scholar, Dr. Hann taught 4th-year dental students at USC as an Associate Professor of Clinical Dentistry, and most recently served as Chief Dental Officer at the Kewa Pueblo Health Center in Santo Domingo, NM. She is very happy to be practicing back home. She enjoys green chile, photographing New Mexico clouds and sunsets, music, cooking, hiking, camping, and exploring the great Southwest with her husband and young daughter.

 

Dental Team

Confidence in our dental team is a result of the long-term dedication of each employee to Dr. Supple’s and Dr. Baiamonte’s patients. Our practice offers the most current technology available in dentistry. Skills include, but are not limited to, the advanced use of the diode laser, administering local anesthesia, laser teeth bleaching, cavitron/prophy jet cleanings, general dentistry procedures, TMD care, digital occlusion analysis, oral implants, periodontal procedures (bone grafting, soft tissue grafting), intraoral optical scanning, digital x-rays, and Invisalign orthodontic treatment.

Our hygienists are trained in soft tissue laser procedures, digital radiography, digital occlusion and use of the intraoral camera, all of which make diagnosis and treatment of dental disease efficient and effective. When scheduling an appointment with one of our hygienists, be assured that she will work to develop the best program of care suited to your individual needs. Nancy

Certified Dental Assistant

Nancy graduated from Central New Mexico Community College with her dental certification including expanded functions in 2016. After her completion of CNM’s dental assisting program, she began her career in Pediatrics. A couple years later, she set about her journey with Digital Dentistry. She assists Dr. Supple with restorative and TMD procedures. On her free time she enjoys exploring outdoors and spending time with her adorable children.  

Luis

Certified Dental Assistant

Luis began his dental journey in 2014. He earned his Dental Assisting certification from Carrington College in 2015 and a certification through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). He is a great assistant and is very talented. He assists in all dental procedures. He is currently working on a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and in the future will be applying to Dental schools. In his free time, he enjoys fitness, watching movies, hiking, traveling, and doing yardwork. Luis is well-spoken and bilingual.

Keena

R.D.H., B.S.

Keena has served in the New Mexico dental community since 1995. She has a background in dental assisting, orthodontics, and dental hygiene. She began working with Dr. Supple and Dr. Baiamonte in 1997 as a dental assistant while working her way through dental hygiene school. In 2001, Keena graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from The University of New Mexico. She is licensed to administer local anesthesia, certified in the advanced use of the diode laser, and has advanced training in Invisalign treatment. Keena enjoys coordinating continuing education for the office, collaborating on website development, and serving as the Staffing Adviser. She is active in her professional organizations and proudly serves the community by volunteering for the Mission of Mercy Project providing needed dental care to New Mexico residents. Keena volunteers with the Art-In-the- Schools program, providing art lessons to elementary school children and helps to lead local chapters of Cub Scout and Boy Scout troops. In her free time, Keena enjoys scuba diving and traveling with her family.

Anahi

R.D.H., B.S.

Anahi grew up in Albuquerque and earned her Associate of Arts degree in Health
Sciences from Central New Mexico Community College. In 2019 she earned her
Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of New Mexico. Ever
since her teenage years, Anahi has had an interest in the dental field and in helping
people improve their oral health to lead healthier lifestyles. She is licensed to administer
local anesthesia and is certified to provide diode laser treatments. Anahi has
volunteered at the New Mexico Mission of Mercy. In her free time, she enjoys working
out, traveling, and spending time with her family and her dog. Anahi is fluent in Spanish
and English.

Christina

Certified Dental Assistant

Christina has been a dental assistant since 2012, after earning her Dental Assisting licensure from Carrington. She began her journey with Digital Dentistry in 2019. She assists in nearly all dental procedures. On her time off she enjoys spending time with her family and dog.

Suzana

Certified Dental Assistant

Suzana received her licensure through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) in 2012. Shortly after receiving her DANB certification, she began her dental career. She started working at Digital Dentistry with Dr. Tom Baiamonte in 2018. In her free time, she enjoys camping, working out, and is a rising star in golf. She is also a proud dog mom.

Irma

R.D.H., B.S., M.S.

A native of Albuquerque, Irma decided to pursue dental hygiene after a fascinating high school internship with Dr. Robert Supple. This unique opportunity cemented Irma’s interest in oral care. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from The University of New Mexico in 2006 and completed the Master of Science program in 2011. She is licensed to administer local anesthesia and is certified in the advanced use of the diode laser. She has served as a didactic and clinical instructor at UNM, as treasurer for Sigma Phi Alpha, and as a Board of Trustees member with NMDHA. Irma speaks both English and Spanish fluently. She proudly served as a volunteer with UNM Division of Dental Hygiene’s international oral health outreach program in Nicaragua in 2011 and in 2013.

Michelle

Front Office Coordinator

Michelle is an Albuquerque native and a busy mom of three. She earned a Bachelor’s of Sociology degree from The University of New Mexico in 1997 and she began working for Dr. Supple and Dr. Baiamonte in 1998. Michelle serves as one of our Front Office Coordinators. She loves working with our patients and collaborating on website development. Michelle looks forward to assisting you with your scheduling needs, financial arrangements and insurance questions.

Raquel

Certified Dental Assistant

Raquel is a New Mexico native who attended the University of New Mexico in Gallup
where she made the Dean’s list twice. She started her dental career in 2017 in
Pediatrics and recently moved to general practice. She is a full-time mom to twin boys.
She likes to hike and dance in her free time.

Tracey

Registered Nurse and Certified Dental Assistant

Tracey began working with Dr. Supple in 1987 while attending college. She has since received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of New Mexico. She maintains dual licensure as an R.N. and received her certification in dental assisting through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). Tracey’s nursing skills have increased the level of care we provide our patients. She is proficient in all dental procedures, but her primary focus in our office is to assist Dr. Baiamonte during implant surgeries and all pre- and post- surgical care. Tracey proudly serves the community by volunteering for the Mission of Mercy Project providing needed dental care to New Mexico residents. In her free time, Tracey enjoys baking and attending Zumba classes.

Valerie

Front Office Coordinator/Operations Manager

Valerie and her family moved from Tucson to Albuquerque in 2001. She was introduced to the dental community in 2004. Her passion has always been working with people. Valerie serves as our main Front Office Coordinator and looks forward to assisting you with your scheduling needs, financial arrangements, and insurance questions. Valerie proudly serves the community by volunteering for the Mission of Mercy Project providing needed dental care to New Mexico residents and Pit stop ministry through Sagebrush church. In her free time, Valerie travels to Arizona to visit her grandchildren.

Suzy

Office Manager

Suzy began working for Dr. Supple and Dr. Baiamonte in 1988. She is usually behind the scenes, filing insurance claims and managing all the financial aspects of running our dental practice. She has a wealth of knowledge that she has gained due to her many years of experience. If you have any questions concerning your insurance, Suzy will be happy to answer them! Suzy enjoys watching football with her two grandchildren in her free time.

Wendy

Massage Therapist

Wendy brings 27 years of experience in massage therapy. She studied at the Institute for Natural Therapeutics in Mesa, Arizona from 1993 to 1997. Wendy has pursued continuing education every year with emphasis on myofascial, and neuromuscular therapeutic massage. She specializes in Travell & Simons’ trigger point muscle release techniques. Wendy has worked with Dr. Supple’s patients over the last two decades and developed techniques to address the special needs of the jaw, neck, shoulders, and intraoral massage. Her career experience has allowed Wendy to develop listening skills, honest communication, compassion and integrity. She is committed to contributing to patients well being and is enthusiastic to be joining forces with Dr. Supple and his staff to bring durable relief to patients challenged with both acute and chronic discomfort from TMD.
