Sleep plays an important role in your physical health. Getting enough quality sleep at the right times can help protect your mental health, physical health, quality of life, and safety.

Sleep deficiency can raise your risk for some chronic health problems. It also can affect how well you think, react, work, learn, and get along with others. Many people suffer from some sort of sleep apnea which results in many health problems. Obstructive Sleep or OSA is associated with high blood pressure and hypoxia. One in four males suffer from OSA and one in four women and children have some form of OSA. In some cases a dental appliance that moves the upper jaw forward and prevents it from going into its original position during sleep can be effective. In most cases sever sleep apnea is treated with a C-PAP device that forces oxygen past the obstruction.
