Some Things to Do At Home to Help with Jaw Discomfort.

  • Ice both Jaw joints before going to bed to help reduce inflammation.
  • Ibuprofen/Advil can be taken as needed to help with any jaw pain/symptoms and to reduce inflammation.
  • Stay away from eating anything hard or chewy that may worsen the pain or discomfort.( hard nuts, french breads, untoasted bagels,chewing gum etc.)
  • Massage therapy, physical therapy, chiropractic adjustments, acupuncture, stretching and/or exercise are all great methods in the overall health of the jaw joints and the entire body.
